Time to Relax

It’s hard for me to get time to myself. I mean I do here and there. But with 5 kids there isn’t TONS. And that’s ok, I love my life. I love having a house full of kids. (And I highly recommend it.).

But some days I do need to recharge. Sometimes I just need a few minutes to be alone. Baths are one of my favorite at home relax be by myself type of thing. I used to take almost one every night when I was pregnant with Jolie. But I have only had a handful since I had her.

Here my super (not so) secret recipe:

1-2 cups of Epsom salt

1/4 cup of baking soda (helps the Epsom salts be more absorbable)

1 or so teaspoons of Vitamin C powder (helps neutralize chlorine)

5-10 drops of young living essential oils

Mix all together in a jar and let sit a bit to let oils to absorb. Then pour them in the running water. Mmmm Enjoy.

Favorite Oils combos:

Joy+Stress Away

Joy+Lavender

Lavender+Valor+Peace&Calming

Roman Chamomile+Lavender

Another little relaxing oil secret is Tranquil Roll On. I use it during car trips (see picture) because my baby doesn’t love the car. My three year old twins have some moments. I like to use this on my forarms.

We also like to use this on our Twins spines when they are having rough moment. It helps calm everyone down. And it really helped Rory in the car a few times when she was a baby. I highly recommend it!
